New QuickBooks Online Features and Upgrades
QuickBooks is always rolling out new features to make its products even more useful. The latest upgrades are designed to help with users navigate the site, organize their invoices and get paid faster. Here’s a rundown of what’s new.
Copy and Blind Copy Anyone on QuickBooks Online Messages
Your entire team can stay on the same page with CC and BCC features in QuickBooks Online, which has been expanded to include estimates, sales receipts, credit memos and refund receipts.
Just click the “CC/BCC” link under the email field to enable the feature.
Find More Deductions With QuickBooks Self-Employed
QuickBooks Self-Employed has a new expense finder that helps maximize your tax deductions. Just connect your bank account (don’t worry, it’s 100% secure) to import business transactions and match them up with Schedule C categories.
Once you’ve reviewed your transactions, you can export a summary for your accountant with one click.
Compare Budgeted v. Actual Results
A new budget interface gives you more budget data and makes it easier to confirm entries. Totals for key variables make it easier than ever to track business performance.
Update Tax Exemptions Online
This new feature allows you to change your employees’ tax exemptions status online instead of by calling customer service. You can switch an employee’s status from non-exempt to exempt or vice versa, and QuickBooks Online will automatically recalculate their year-to-date SUI taxes and reconcile any amount owed on their next paycheck.
